Numerous text messages to get us to schedule for their special promption. Signed up for date and time and they didn’t show. Called and Matt said he would check and call back in a few minutes. Never called back. My husband called and never heard from them. No call no show. This is no way to run a business. Very inconsiderate!

Matt came to the house today for an issue we were having with our heater. He was on time, looked sharp, was friendly and very professional. He diagnosed our issue in just a few minutes and gave us options as to what we needed to do to have our heater working again. Expert, knowledgeable diagnosis of my problem and given the hard to get parts , fast response and quick repair. Parts used looks better than new ones that came with our Rheem H/AC unit. Highly recommended anyone. Friendly people too.

I cannot recommend Mathew and his team highly enough. He was exceptionally responsive and went out of his way to come out to fix our AC. We have a 1 month old baby and had no AC in the middle of ojai summer. Matt came to our rescue and repaired the AC in no time. He was super helpful, friendly, efficient and professional. Matt and his crew at Elite Heat and Air Conditioning are responsive, offered next-day service at no extra charge, arrived promptly, expertly diagnosed the problem with my thermostat, and provided clean service, wore face masks and shoe covers. In addition, the service is priced very reasonably, even including a 6-month follow-up at no extra charge! His helpers Josue and Gustavo are polite and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

We called 805 after dealing with another company that could not find the leak in our AC. Matt showed up when he said he would and ran a UV dye test which showed leaks in the coil and compressor and later, a test of the lines which he said showed a leak in one of them, as well. Matt sent us a proposal on Friday 7/23 for replacing the coil and compressor and said he would send a proposal for replacing the lines and he would start the work early the following week. By Friday of the following week when Matt kept telling us he was waiting to receive the refrigerant lines but had not sent us the proposal for that work and then not contacted us or returned calls in 2 days, we decided to go with another company. Matt then tried to say we had a binding contract and billed us $1248 for the line test. After some back and forth he did reduce that amount to $850 which I paid. I am just glad we had not paid any money up front for replacing the AC. And that we found someone else to do the work promptly and professionally.
Matt is amazing! We had reached out to a couple of other HVAC companies and they couldn’t diagnose the issue with our AC Unit. I called and he was able to come the next day! He was very informative and was extremely professional and helpful. We are so happy we found Matt to help address our AC needs when the time arises. Thank you Matt!
This was the first company I contacted for an estimate to install ac in my condo based on the good reviews I read about this company. He came on a Saturday which I appreciated and I thought he gave a decent verbal estimate. He told me he would write up the estimate and send it to me that night or the next day. I never received an estimate in writing and I either left a message or sent an email without a response. So I can’t give a glowing review
My experience with Matt was wonderful! We were having trouble with our A/C not functioning. Matt showed up and was very professional and respectful! He did a thorough inspection of our A/C and explained everything very clearly. I highly recommend this company. They won’t let you down!
I called Elite Heat and Air, among other companies, for quotes to install a brand new heating system. Furnace, ducts, vents…. the works. I chose Matt and Elite because of his professionalism and competitive pricing during the estimate walkthrough. After having Matt around the house for a few days, I can say that he is just an awesome, trustworthy, and hard working guy. When I came home today to discover that my heater wasn’t working, I was desperate and scared. Desperate because it has been COLD lately and I didn’t want to go without heat all weekend. Scared because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to find someone to come and, and if I did…what would they charge me?I called a few places and just as I thought, nothing until Monday. I don’t normally call places that pay for the advertising, but something about Elite’s logo appealed to me. I am so GLAD I did. Not only was he able to come within a few hours, he was professional, following covid protocols, efficient, and above all, a heck of a nice guy. Matt is now my go-to HVAC guy. I feel so lucky I found Elite!
Matt was on time, very professional and Covid-19 aware! He know right away what the issue with our AC unit was and repaired in a timely matter. (Our AC compressor was down during this great 100+ temp). In addition, Matt came out on a Saturday to make the repairs. My wife and I recommend Elite to many of our friends at our ranch in Ojai. Matt, the owner, came exactly on time and not only fixed my mini-split air unit, he explained why we should just add refrigerant and not empty and recharge the whole system. He saved me at least $500 on this visit. He also TAUGHT me about my unit and how to deal with it. I will absolutely use him again. It’s rare to get that level of service these days.

Woke up to a cold house on a Saturday. Called Elite Heat and Air Conditioning that same morning and they had me scheduled for late morning. Received a phone call from my technician Matt letting me know he was on the way. He came out to troubleshoot my nest thermostat and furnace. My Furnace needed a new part and he called around to supply houses to see if the part was in stock so he could get our heat back on. He found one that had it in stock but was closing in a few minutes. He offered to see if the supply house could wait until he got there or pick it up first thing Monday morning and install it early afternoon. We opted to just wait until Monday. It’s monday and our heat is back on!! Hands down the best experience I’ve have ever received from a HVAC company!!!

I saw Elite recommended on, I believe, the Nextdoor app, and we were VERY pleased! Matt was able to come check our heater quickly, which had to be turned off manually. He gave us several solutions, which was very appreciated. It turns out that the solution we chose was fairly simple and inexpensive. Matt was very polite and friendly, and we will definitely be contacting him when we ran into heating/plumbing issues ! Thanks, Matt!
